Such an alternative could be a grant from the government or elsewhere. The process of applying for the grant is not an easy one and in any case, it puts you under a lot of scrutiny. Eligibility is also based on a lot of other factors and it may be a while before you get to know whether your business qualifies.
Depending on where the grant is coming from, details such as location of the enterprise, sales revenue, number of years in ope ration, sex of the entrepreneur as well as race may be required. These go a long way in determining the financial position as well as the degree of need for the grant.
